Reality is not divided into opposites. Nature and technology, tradition and innovation,
handcraft and industry are often seen as separate worlds, yet they constantly influence one
another.
My vision imagines a reality where these boundaries no longer exist.

The starting point of this project is my family‘s history in traditional willow basket weaving.
Instead of recreating this heritage, I reinterpret it through contemporary industrial materials.
Willow represents memory, growth, and the knowledge passed down through generations.
Black industrial cables and stainless steel marine hardware represent the modern world:
infrastructure, technology, functionality, and engineered systems.

Rather than creating a contrast, I want these materials to become one living structure.
The willow grows through the industrial elements, while the black cables behave like veins
connecting organic forms.
It reflects the reality we live in today, where craftsmanship and technology are inseparable.
No Borders is therefore not only a visual concept but also a philosophy:
traditions do not disappear—they evolve. Nature and industry are no longer opposites but parts of
the same continuous system.


"No Borders imagines a world where nature and industry exist as one.
Inspired by my family's willow basket-weaving heritage, I combine willow with pre-used industrial cables and stainless steel hardware.
The materials intertwine rather than contrast, creating one connected structure.
The collection shows that tradition does not disappear, it evolves, proving that craftsmanship and technology can grow together without boundaries."
